What Is SEO?
While you obviously need to have a website for people to find, to actually have them FIND it, you need SEO. Search Engine Optimization is a somewhat complicated process of telling the major search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo...) that your website is valuable.
Without SEO, your site will just sit there with nobody to read it. I have personally seen sites that cost $5,000 that were sitting on page 10 when I searched for the services they were offering. Now that is a waste of money.
Now, don't think that I (or anyone for that matter) can magically take your site and get it ranking on Page 1 overnight. If that were possible, everyone would be doing it and you'd constantly see different websites on top every day.
Just like anything else, anything worth it takes time and effort. Typically I can get a site on Page 1 for a couple of your key terms within 2-3 months. Sometimes it's faster, sometimes it takes longer. This mostly depends on how much competition you have in your area.
What Does It Cost?
Here is the tricky part. SEO pricing can vary quite a bit due to the amount of competition with other businesses. If you are in a small town that has no other competition, it is much easier (and cheaper) to rank your site than it is in a large city with lots of competition.
Having said that, our prices typically run from $500 - $1500 per month. If you are doing a website design and seo package, we will make sure to give you the best pricing.
This might seem costly, but if you compare it to most other forms of advertising, you are coming out much cheaper. Almost every other form of advertising is "indirect", you are targeting everyone regardless of whether they'll ever need your service or product.
SEO is very "direct". You are essentially only targeting people who are actively looking for your service or product. By doing this, you are spending your money only on people you want to advertise to.
